There Is Purpose In Your Pain

There Is Purpose In Your Pain

As I was scrolling through my old camera footage, I found a picture that I couldn't stop staring at.  It was of me sitting in my work cubicle with this huge smile.  While it was a smile, it was empty.  Isn't it crazy how we can see a picture and instantly be reminded of what we were doing and how we were feeling in that exact moment?

I could remember that day.  I remembered picking up my phone and taking that selfie at that moment because it was at my lowest, professionally, or one of them.  While I was emotionally exhausted, burned out, under-valued, over-worked, and a few other things, I knew that there was better.  I knew that this was not the end.  I knew that this would all be for my good. I didn't know when or how, I just knew.

That picture was taken six years ago.  As I reflect on it now, I can say that I Was Right. I, now, empower and inspire employees and their employers improve their workplace relationships and environments where the benefits extend far beyond the office walls.

What have you experienced?  What had you on edge or the ledge...the verge?

Life has shown me through my life experiences and others, that there is purpose in our life challenges, traumas, and crisis.  There is Purpose in Our Pain. Our experiences can be for the betterment of someone else.  How will you use yours? Share your testimony, stregthen and encourage someone else, remind them that they are not alone and that there is light at the end.
